Top 10 Alicia Keys Songs

It’s hard to believe it’s been more than a decade since Alicia Keys songs first started making their rounds on the radio.
The songstress first burst on the scene in 2001 at the age of 20, but her age belied her talent and skill. Alicia channeled what felt like lifetimes of emotion into her mix of R&B, neo soul, blues, funk and jazz, thus creating her very own unique blend.
Alicia is over 10 years deep into her career, with five studio albums to her name, and yet we feel like she’s only scratched the surface of what she can and will do.  From her signature piano ballads (‘Fallin’,’ ‘No One’) to her empowering anthems (‘Girl on Fire’), her music and lyrics come from a very real place and it’s why her songs have connected with fans of all ages and genres.
We’ve scanned and scoured her catalog to come up with the Top 10 Alicia Keys songs. Check out our pictures below, and leave a comment sharing your personal favorite.

Britney Spears May Collaborate With Little Sister Jamie Lynn

Britney Spears is building anticipation for her upcoming record, and so are the producers lucky enough to be working on it. While she’s previously confirmed a collaboration with will.i.am, she might have another duet up her sleeve; One with her own little sister, Jamie Lynn!
You may know Jamie Lynn off of the TV show "Zoey 101" but little did I know that she's a signer as well! Sources say Jamie Lynn is no stranger to music, though she hasn’t known the success of Britney just yet. Jamie Lynn’s songs skew country, while Britney said that her new record is going in a more hip-hop direction than her past pop gems.

Antony Preston works with will.i.am, and Ryan Seacrest pointed out that Preston recently posted a tweet implying that Jamie Lynn may be in the studio with her pop legend big sis.

"Antony Preston @antonypreston
Two down... Four to go! Gonna miss my vocal coach :) @jamielynnspears"

Jamie Lynn already wrote a sentimental song about Britney! Have you heard it before? If not, check it out here and tell me what you think!

Kayne West Releases 5 New Tracks

Kanye West fans at Governors Ball got quite the treat this weekend! The rapper performed not one, not two, but five new songs from his upcoming album ‘Yeezus,’ which is due out on June 18.
In addition to the tracks ‘New Slaves’ and ‘Black Skinhead,’ which Yeezy performed on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ fans were treated to three more new songs titled ‘I Am a God,’ ‘Send It Up’ and ‘Onsite.’
All the tracks off ‘Yeezus’ have a decidedly dark tone. Kayne seems to have stepped away from the hip-hop and sounds to be embracing the electronic genre with open arms. People call the man a genius for a reason! The beat for ‘Send It Up’ has a heavy hip-hop influence as does ‘New Slaves,’ but both tracks still sound totally different than what other rappers are putting out these days.

Nathan Skyes Returns Back at the 2013 Capital FM Summertime Ball

Welcome back, Nathan Skyes! The Wanted have been missing their bass singer since his hiatus following throat surgery. Sykes made his triumphant return to the stage at the 2013 Capital FM Summertime Ball.

Capital FM reports that the Wanted, being the jokesters that they are, informed the audience that Sykes wasn’t well enough to join them onstage … right when he appeared for ‘I Found You.’
Sykes was reportedly so emotional that he hugged his band mates at the end of the song. The group, who currently star on their own reality show ‘The Wanted Life’ also performed ‘Walks Like Rihanna,’ ‘Glad You Came’ and ‘All Time Low.’

Nathan underwent throat surgery following a long bout of vocal issues, and he was pretty worried about them before his recovery began. “It’s not good at all. Nathan has battled with throat issues for a while but this is far more serious,” a source said at the time. “After the once-over by the specialist, he was instructed to have almost immediate surgery. Naturally, Nathan is really worried as if it doesn’t work, his career is over.” Needless to say, the band and their fans are happy he’s back!

Kelly Clarkson performs new single 'Tie It Up' at CMA music festival

The track has a definite country-twang to it and it seems as though with every passing day, Clarkson is embracing her inner cowgirl more and more. The songstress reportedly told the crowd (via MTV News) that she was very nervous to perform for a crowd of mostly country fans. She said, “This is my first official set at a country … thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!”
In all this excitement over getting married, performing at a country festival and debuting a new song, Kelly lost her engagement ring! She told the crowd, “I’m secretly freaking out right now about where my ring is. I know Brandon is having a heart attack. Sorry baby, I love you! I got nervous about tonight so I probably took it off while doing something.” But don’t worry, Kelly eventually found it. She tweeted:
"For all of the concerned fans I FOUND MY RINGS!!! Seriously, panicked in my head all night long .....so did Brandon haha!"
